SURFACE ANATOMY & assessment by palpation. London 2013

19/06/2013

National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO)

Surface anatomy and palpation This course covers palpation techniques focussed on soft tissues (in particular muscle). Surface anatomy is revised and palpation practice to identify soft tissue pain sources in various regions of the body. In this one day introductory course we will cover the shoulder girdle, the neck and dorsal spine, and the low back and posterior hip girdle. By the end of the day, participants should feel more confident about identifying key landmarks and palpating the superficial muscle layers in these regions. Course led by Dr Mike Cummings Cancellation policy If you cancel any time up to four weeks prior to the course, we will refund your fee less £50 administration charge. Thereafter, we regret no refunds can be made. Substitution of a colleague who fulfils the criteria is acceptable. BMAS cannot be held responsible for delegates expenses in the event of cancellation by either party. In exceptional circumstances and at the Society’s discretion, course delegates may be permitted to transfer to another course.
