Surface anatomy and palpation
This course covers palpation techniques focussed on soft tissues (in particular muscle). Surface anatomy is revised and palpation practice to identify soft tissue pain sources in various regions of the body. In this one day introductory course we will cover the shoulder girdle, the neck and dorsal spine, and the low back and posterior hip girdle. By the end of the day, participants should feel more confident about identifying key landmarks and palpating the superficial muscle layers in these regions.
