The NICE guidelines for the treatment of back pain are being revised, and you will have heard the news that acupuncture is expected to be removed as a treatment option.
So what can be done about this?

As a stakeholder organisation, BMAS will be making a formal response as part of the consultation on the draft guideline, urging the committee to reconsider the evidence.
The consultation period on the new guidelines is open until 5 May.
