 These workshops are run by Dr Robert Gerwin, a Board-Certified neurologist from Washington State, USA. Bob had the opportunity of training in the diagnosis and management of myofascial pain syndromes under the renowned Janet Travell, and now runs a multidisciplinary pain clinic specialising in this field. The workshops involve lectures, demonstrations and practical experience. Attendees will gain most by participating in the practical elements which involve palpation and needling of the most common muscle groups affected by myofascial pain syndromes. Practicals will be in small groups.
